Parth is an Associate with the Financial Services team at Spice Route Legal.
With a strong focus on regulatory compliance, Parth regularly advises clients across sectors on navigating complex compliance frameworks under the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and other sectoral regulators.
His practice spans both traditional and emerging financial products, including lending, payments and insurance. Parth also spends considerable amount of time in advising clients establish and operate within the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) at GIFT City. His work includes assisting financial institutions and fintechs with licensing and business structuring under the IFSCA framework, evaluating regulatory sandboxes, and advising on cross-border implications of operating in India’s first IFSC.

- Advised a leading gold lending service provider on the legal compliance of its doorstep gold lending model, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Advising a global payment solutions provider on regulatory structuring of India’s first multi-currency wallet for individuals, enabling them to hold and transact in multiple foreign currencies.
- Advised a leading trade finance platform on setting up operations in GIFT City, structuring its supply chain and lending products, and assessing the most efficient mode for cross-border dispute resolution and validity of electronic signature for customers across jurisdictions.
- Assisted with over 10 licensing applications across NBFCs, payment aggregators, and account aggregators.
