Representative matters:
- Advising a Singapore-based payment service provider on a strategic partnership with one of the world’s largest gaming companies to facilitate payment collection from Indian users, ensuring compliance with the Reserve Bank of India’s latest cross-border payment regulations.
- Advised a stealth-mode startup on the launch of innovative products enabling tokenisation of real-world assets – including real estate and depository receipts – and the deployment of stablecoin “sandwich” structures for cross-border trade, including a global benchmarking of tokenisation laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Advising India’s second-largest financial services conglomerate on a business restructuring to facilitate a forthcoming IPO of its digital finance business.
- Advised a leading US-based financial technology firm providing USDC and Web3 services on the status of digital assets in the Indian regulatory landscape, and created a one-stop compendium of all applicable laws, compliance requirements, notifications etc on cryptocurrencies, digital assets, and blockchain in India.
